Job summary

Clear Legal & Financial Recruitment is seeking a Personal Injury Case Handler to join the Pre Litigation Credit Hire team in Manchester. You will manage a caseload of pre-litigation personal injury claims involving credit hire and handle cases via the OIC/MOJ portals with supervision as needed.

The role requires 18 months+ experience, strong portal knowledge, and a focus on client care. Hybrid working, health plan, pension, training and development opportunities, and annual appraisal are offered.

Qualifications

• 18 months+ experience handling personal injury claims.
• Strong understanding of the OIC and MOJ portals.
• Solid knowledge of the Pre Action Protocol.
• Familiarity with Civil Procedure Rules.
• Experience reviewing and valuing medical evidence without supervision.
• Experience carrying out quantum reviews and assessments.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of pre-litigated personal injury claims involving credit hire.
• Handle claims through the OIC portal.
• Manage MOJ portal claims up to £25,000.
• Handle non-MOJ claims up to £20,000 with supervision.
• Review and value medical evidence and formalise case plans.
