Job summary

KERV Legal in Liverpool is seeking an experienced Credit Hire Litigator / Fee Earner to manage a varied caseload of litigated Credit Hire matters from start to finish. You will handle fast-track, multi-track and liability-disputed claims, ensuring timely progress through to settlement or trial.

You will work closely with a supportive litigation team, maintaining case records and progressing matters in line with MOJ Protocols and Civil Procedure Rules.

Qualifications

• Previous experience handling Credit Hire claims is essential.
• Strong experience managing litigated RTA matters through to resolution.
• Good understanding of Credit Hire case law and litigation procedure.
• Knowledge of the MOJ Protocols, Pre-Action Protocols and Civil Procedure Rules.
• Understanding of personal injury claims and associated costs.
• Comfortable working towards KPIs including billing, settlement rates and case duration.

Responsibilities

• Managing a full caseload of litigated Credit Hire claims.

I'm currently recruiting for an experienced Credit Hire Litigator / Fee Earner to join a well-established litigation team in Liverpool.

The role will see you take ownership of a varied caseload of litigated Credit Hire matters, including fast-track, multi-track and liability-disputed claims, managing cases from the commencement of proceedings through to settlement or trial.

• Progressing cases from issue of proceedings through to trial
• Complying with court directions, orders and procedural deadlines
• Negotiating settlements and securing the best possible outcomes for clients
• Maintaining regular communication with Credit Hire providers
• Building strong relationships with hire companies and other key stakeholders
• Working closely with colleagues across the wider litigation team
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records

About you:
