Job summary

Clear Legal & Financial Recruitment are assisting a client in Manchester to recruit a Personal Injury Case Handler for the Pre Litigation Credit Hire team. The role focuses on managing pre lit igated PI claims involving credit hire, with exposure to the OIC and MOJ portals and a caseload managed with minimal supervision.

You will review medical evidence, perform quantum reviews, and develop case plans while maintaining high standards of client care and professional relationships with credit hire

Qualifications

• At least 18 months' experience handling personal injury claims.
• Strong understanding of OIC and MOJ portals.
• Solid knowledge of Pre Action Protocol and Civil Procedure Rules.
• Experience reviewing and valuing medical evidence.
• Experience conducting quantum reviews and multi-expert cases.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proactive, assertive and able to manage own caseload.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of pre litigated Personal Injury claims involving credit hire.
• Handle claims through the OIC portal.
• Manage MOJ portal claims up to £25,000 with supervision.
• Manage MOJ portal claims up to £20,000 with supervision.
• Manage Stages 1, 2 and 3 of the MOJ portal.
• Review GP reports and valuations without supervision.
• Carry out quantum reviews and formalise case plans.
• Liaise with credit hire organisations and maintain relationships.
• Ensure compliance with Pre Action Protocol and Civil Procedure Rules.
