Job summary

A healthcare provider in the UK is seeking a knowledgeable Specialist Nurse for the pre-assessment of patients awaiting endoscopic procedures. The role involves coordinating care pathways, providing nursing expertise, and working closely with multi-disciplinary teams. Key Responsibilities
  • To provide specialist nursing expertise, facilitating evidence-based patient-centred care and assessment for a defined caseload of pre-assessment patients.
  • To co‑coordinate patients throughout their pre‑assessment pathway, with a high level of input into the management and care of patients prior to admission for specified procedures.
  • This role requires someone who is organised with excellent communication skills and is confident with liaising with multi‑disciplinary teams.
Qualifications

Successful applicant will ideally have a minimum of 12 months experience in an acute setting.

Previous endoscopy experience may be advantageous but is not essential as we provide training and competency assessment.

This role requires an active UK NMC Registration.
