A respected healthcare organization in Liverpool City Region is seeking an experienced Practice Nurse to deliver essential nursing care within their Asylum service. This role requires the candidate to supervise a nursing team, conduct assessments, and ensure comprehensive record keeping. The ideal candidate is NMC registered, possesses strong clinical leadership experience, and is skilled in communication. A bank contract at £23.01 per hour is offered, providing flexible shift options.
What will you be doingProviding specialist knowledge and skills in general practice nursing.Deliver screening and advisory interventions in line with care plans and pathway guidance, including signposting or referral for physical and mental health needs.Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care ensuring clear channels of communication exist between clinical, administration and community teams.Supervise and mentor the general practice nursing team and provide an effective learning environment for staff and students in the wider team.Provide assessment, treatment, screening and health education services and advice in accordance with set protocols, guidelines and NMC Code of conduct.Ensure accurate, comprehensive records of all consultations and treatments are documented.Follow infection control policies and keep up to date with policies.Responsible for treatment rooms supplies and equipment.Monitor work areas and practices to ensure they are safe, free from hazards and conform to health, safety and security legislation, policies, procedures and guidelines.

Practice Nurse - Bank
Are you an experienced Practice Nurse? We are looking for a Practice Nurse who will support our Asylum service based in Liverpool city centre. You will be a vital member of our clinical team, delivering essential nursing care and supporting the health and wellbeing of our patients.
Salary: £23.01 per hour
Location: Asylum Assessment Service, Birley Court
Contract: Bank
Shifts: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday
