Job summary

PortmanDentex in Canterbury is seeking a proactive Practice Manager to lead our orthodontic practice, oversee day-to-day operations, and ensure excellent patient care across NHS and private patients.

You’ll drive performance, manage staff, and act as Registered Manager for the practice, with shifts Mon, Wed, Thu 8:15-5:15; competitive salary from £21,000 per annum; join Portman Smile Clinic as a cornerstone of UK orthodontics.

Qualifications

• Healthcare, retail or service-focused background with leadership experience.
• Experience managing a dental practice is an added bonus but not essential.
• Proven ability to lead, support colleagues and deliver operational excellence.

Orthodontic practice,caring for both NHS and private patients

Supportive and collaborative operations manager and business partners,assistingwith overall practice growth and management

About you

We’dlove to receive your application to our Practice Manager vacancy if you have the following skills and experience:

Ahealthcare, retail, hospitality, or similar service-focused background- experience managing a dental practice or strong leadership experience as a lead dental nurse isan added bonus, but not essential

Leading and supporting colleagues to perform at their best

Confident working with financials(P&L, KPIs, budgets)

Focused ondelivering operational excellence: fromfully-functioningequipment and facilities, to a compliant, process-driven practice team
