Job summary

PortmanDentex in Bath’s Circus Orthodontics is seeking a proactive Practice Manager to lead a 3-surgery private orthodontic practice. You will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and drive service quality while safeguarding compliance and patient care standards.

We offer full-time hours (40 per week, Mon-Fri 8:30-5) with a competitive salary from £38,000, dependent on experience. You’ll report as Registered Manager and play a key role in practice growth and performance.

Qualifications

• Healthcare/service-focused background preferred.
• Experience managing a dental practice or strong leadership in a clinical setting is a bonus.
• Passionate about delivering great service.
• Leading and supporting colleagues to perform at their best.
• Confident working with financials (P&L, KPIs, budgets).
• Focused on operational excellence: equipment, facilities, and compliant processes.

We’re looking for a motivated and people-focused Practice Manager to join our fabulous specialist orthodontic team at Circus Orthodontics in Bath

Full-time hours available, 40 hours per week over 5 days with typical shifts of 8.30am-5pm Monday to Friday - there is some flexibility with hours.

Competitive salary from £38,000 dependent on your experience

3-surgery specialist Orthodontic practice, caring for private patients

Supportive and collaborative operations manager and business partners, assisting with overall practice growth and management

Beautiful practice in the centre of Bath

Please note that as part of your role, you’ll be the Registered Manager for this practice.

About you

We’d love to receive your application to our Practice Manager vacancy if you have the following skills and experience:

A healthcare, retail, hospitality, or similar service-focused background - experience managing a dental practice or strong leadership experience as a lead dental nurse is an added bonus, but not essential

Passionate about delivering great service

Leading and supporting colleagues to perform at their best

Confident working with financials (P&L, KPIs, budgets)

Focused on delivering operational excellence: from fully-functioning equipment and facilities, to a compliant, process-driven practice team
