PortmanDentex is seeking a motivated Practice Manager for our Stanmore dental team. You will serve as Registered Manager, leading a patient‑facing practice and driving service excellence.

The role involves 40 hours per week over 5 days, with an emphasis on people leadership, operational efficiency and financial oversight to support growth and quality care.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a service-focused team in healthcare or a similar setting.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to drive patient satisfaction.
• Proven ability to manage financials, budgets and KPIs for a practice.
• Commitment to operational excellence and compliant processes.

Whether you’re an experienced Practice Manager or come from a similar people-focused field, this might be just the opportunity you’ve been waiting for. We’re looking for a motivated and people-focused Practice Manager to join our fabulous specialist team at Family Dental Care in Stanmore.

• Full-time hours available, 40 hours per week over 5 days with typical shifts of 8.30am-5.30pm.


• Competitive salary dependent on your experience


• Conveniently located less than 15 minutes’ walk from Stanmore Station and Canons Park Station


• Supportive and collaborative operations manager and business partners, assisting with overall practice growth and management

Please note that as part of your role, you’ll be the Registered Manager for this practice.

About You

We’d love to receive your application to our Practice Manager vacancy if you have the following skills and experience:

• A healthcare, retail, hospitality, or similar service-focused background - experience managing a dental practice or strong leadership experience as a lead dental nurse is an added bonus, but not essential


• Passionate about delivering great service


• Leading and supporting colleagues to perform at their best


• Confident working with financials (P&L, KPIs, budgets)


• Focused on delivering operational excellence: from fully-functioning equipment and facilities, to a compliant, process-driven practice team
