Job summary

PortmanDentex in Bath is seeking a proactive Practice Manager to lead a 3-surgery specialist orthodontic practice, delivering excellent patient care and operational leadership. You will oversee a private patient-focused environment with a supportive management team and flexible hours within a 40-hour week, typically 8:30am-5pm, Monday to Friday.

The role requires strong leadership, service focus, and ability to work with budgets and KPIs.

Qualifications

• A healthcare, retail, hospitality, or similar service-focused background is desirable.
• Experience leading teams and delivering service excellence is valued.
• Ability to manage financials and drive operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support colleagues to perform at their best.
• Oversee daily practice operations, equipment, and facilities to ensure smooth service.
• Manage financials such as P&L, KPIs and budgets to support growth.
• Act as Registered Manager for the Bath practice and ensure compliance.

We’re looking for a motivated and people-focused Practice Manager to join our fabulous specialist orthodontic team at Circus Orthodontics in Bath

Full-time hours available, 40 hours per week over 5 days with typical shifts of 8.30am-5pm Monday to Friday - there is some flexibility with hours.

Competitive salary from £38,000 dependent on your experience

3-surgery specialist Orthodontic practice, caring for private patients

Supportive and collaborative operations manager and business partners, assisting with overall practice growth and management

Beautiful practice in the centre of Bath

Please note that as part of your role, you’ll be the Registered Manager for this practice.

About you

We’d love to receive your application to our Practice Manager vacancy if you have the following skills and experience:

A healthcare, retail, hospitality, or similar service-focused background - experience managing a dental practice or strong leadership experience as a lead dental nurse is an added bonus, but not essential

Passionate about delivering great service

Leading and supporting colleagues to perform at their best

Confident working with financials (P&L, KPIs, budgets)

Focused on delivering operational excellence: from fully-functioning equipment and facilities, to a compliant, process-driven practice team
