Qualifications

  • Recent experience working within the engineering or motor vehicle industry.
  • A Level 3 qualification in your specialism.
  • Ability to plan and prepare teaching resources and demonstrate practical techniques.
  • Strong communication skills and a willingness to acquire new skills.
  • Ability to carry out routine and planned maintenance of equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support learners in workshops and practical teaching areas.
  • Provide guidance and conduct learner reviews onsite, online, and in the workplace.
  • Maintain and modify equipment and resources, ensuring safety and suitability.
  • Undertake stocktaking, safety inspections, and planned maintenance.
  • Assist with curriculum development and departmental marketing activities.
  • Support purchasing of services and supplies for the curriculum area.
  • Attend team meetings and contribute to quality assurance and evaluation processes.

Skills

Recent experience in engineering or motor vehicle industry
