Power Systems Marketing Manager

Power System division supports Schneider Electric mission for a more sustainable world by bringing digital innovation solutions in the energy sector.

Within the Power System Strategy and Marketing team, the role of the Segment Marketing Manager is to be the marketing lead for the given segments, researching market landscape and developing go‑to‑market strategies.

The role requires analysis and understanding of market conditions, articulating value proposition and offer architecture and the ability to create marketing plans to raise awareness, create demand and generate leads within the target segment(s).

Areas of Responsibility
  • E‑mobility segment strategy (50%)
    • Market Intelligence: understand dynamics of the EV sector in the UK, translate legislation, spot growth opportunities and represent Schneider Electric with industry alliances.
    • Strategy: develop value propositions and marketing strategies with business leaders and global counterparts, adapting messaging to local needs.
    • Commercial Champion: provide insight to sales leaders, create tactical campaigns and enable the sales force, monitor pipeline and orders performance.
    • Communication: create and deploy campaigns, drive customer events attendance, co‑create media strategies to reach target audience and personas.
  • Segment business prescription (50%)
    • Map segments investment trends and ecosystem with business leads.
    • Define / adapt offer architecture for the segment.
    • Create promotion assets and training to support deployment of power systems.
  • Competitive intelligence: be the SPOC driving competitive analysis across the team, collecting insights on competition positioning.
  • Key contributor to the 3‑year business plan, annual segment ambition setting, and quarterly business performance reviews.
Skills and Attributes
  • Strong analytical skills to derive business insights from a wide range of data.
  • Dynamic, motivated individual – self‑start and leadership essential.
  • Strong communication skills to converse with customers, managers, and partners.
Education
  • Marketing degree (required).
  • Electrical Engineering or technical qualification with focus on Medium Voltage (desirable).
