Job summary

Rolls-Royce SMR is seeking a Project Engineer to join the Power Station Integration team. You will lead and coordinate detailed engineering scope for the Rolls-Royce SMR programme, acting as the primary integration point between PMO and multidisciplinary engineering teams.

You will translate programme objectives into executable engineering plans, ensuring activities are delivered safely, to quality, on schedule and within budget, while proactively managing risks, dependencies and subcontractor

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Science or a related technical discipline.
• Experience delivering engineering projects within a regulated industry.
• Experience delivering complex engineering work within large infrastructure, energy, defence, aerospace or nuclear programmes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the delivery of Power Station Integration engineering work packages.
• Act as the primary interface between engineering teams and the Project Management Organisation (PMO).
• Translate programme requirements into clear engineering execution plans.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams to achieve project objectives.
• Manage engineering scope, schedule, cost and quality performance.
• Develop and maintain integrated delivery plans and recovery plans where required.
• Support project controls activities, including forecasting, reporting and change management.
