Job summary

Rolls-Royce SMR Limited is seeking an Engineer to join the Power Station Integration team. You will support the development and delivery of the SMR power station design, integrating plant capabilities and performance attributes while collaborating with multidisciplinary engineers to ensure the system meets business, customer and regulatory needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering qualification or equivalent.
• Experience in product or system-level design and integration across multiple disciplines.
• Familiarity with MBSE tools and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of product-level aspects of the power station design to meet requirements.
• Contribute to development of plant capabilities and performance attributes (net power, availability, cost).
• Apply systems engineering methods to define and develop the integrated design.
• Elicit and decompose requirements and flow-down to lower-tier systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate design solutions.
• Deliver design information within the Power Station Architecture Model using MBSE.
• Apply optioneering and systems engineering techniques for robust solutions.
• Identify and resolve design integration issues to meet objectives.
• Contribute to process improvements in systems engineering.
