Job summary

Rolls-Royce plc in the UK seeks a Lead Engineer to shape the Module Partner Development for our SMR programme. Based in Derby, Manchester or Warrington with hybrid working, the role leads collaboration between Rolls-Royce SMR and module partners, defining engineering scope, interfaces and delivery models.

You will have a Mechanical or Electrical degree with Chartered status, strong systems engineering knowledge, and experience delivering complex programmes, schedules, and cross-functional

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering plus Chartered Engineer status or commitment to pursue professional registration.
• Experience developing engineering scope, delivery models and stakeholder alignment across complex programmes.
• Strong understanding of systems engineering principles, including requirements management and risk management.
• Experience developing schedules and communicating across technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead collaboration between Rolls-Royce SMR and Module Partner organisation, aligning responsibilities and interfaces.
• Develop engineering scope, delivery models and partner engagement practices.
• Drive planning, scope development and partnership maturity activities across modules programme.
• Bridge between engineering, programme and operations to maintain alignment on commissioning and resource planning.
