Rolls-Royce SMR is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead multidisciplinary development of a key area within the SMR power station design. You will report to a Senior Engineering Manager and work in a hybrid model across Derby, Manchester, or Warrington, coordinating engineering outputs to meet quality, schedule, and safety standards.

This high-impact leadership role requires strong integration, governance, and regulatory engagement capabilities, with experience across cooling water islands,

Competenze

• Recognised engineering qualification or equivalent demonstrable experience delivering multidisciplinary design on complex infrastructure or power programmes.
• Experience in cooling water island, civil engineering, nuclear island, or construction readiness.
• Strong knowledge of engineering integration, governance and regulatory engagement across large-scale infrastructure projects.

Mansioni

• Lead the engineering development of your allocated site-specific design area and ensure integration with the generic SMR programme.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary interfaces, manage technical alignment and support regulatory and client engagement.
• Plan and deliver engineering outputs to quality, schedule and safety expectations.
• Manage resources and contribute effectively within a complex programme environment.
