A leading defence organisation is seeking a Power Electronics Engineer in Stevenage to support circuit design and testing for advanced control systems. Candidates should have a background in Electronic Design and a commitment to excellence in high-integrity industries. Job Title: Power Electronics Engineer
Salary: Circa £45,000 depending on experience
Location: Stevenage (We may be able to offer a relocation package for this role)
Dynamic (hybrid) working: Please note that this role is predominantly site based. However, it could be full time or part time in order to meet your own needs should the business be able to accommodate it. Depending on individual project needs, we are flexible and accommodating.
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship
Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. All successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team, after the offer stage.

Are you interested in designing high-integrity, complex systems? MBDA delivers cutting-edge products worldwide, and our Power Electronics team is key to this development. You'll support circuit design, prototyping, testing, and hardware integration for motor control, feedback loops, and control systems during flight.
Your role spans from feasibility studies to certification and transition to production, working across all product lifecycle stages with various stakeholders to meet quality, cost, and schedule targets.
