Job description

Partnered with a UK wide advanced analytics Logistics company who specialise in delivering bespoke Power BI and Electronic Data Interchange services providing a seamless data exchange aligning third-party platforms, communications, error reductions and enhancing efficiencies.

They are searching for a Power BI Developer responsible for creating insightful, interactive dashboards bespoke to logistics and supply chain operations, working closely with clients understanding their workflows, KPIs and transform raw data into structured models, build dashboards and enhance decision making.

Scope of role

• Engage with logistics stakeholders, understand business processes, pain points and required KPIs.
• Translate requirements into PowerBI dashboards specifications and Data needs.
• Extract and transform data from multiple systems (TMS, WMS, ERP, telematics, EDI)
• Standardise and validate data using Power Query, SQL or ETL pipelines.
• Align dashboards with design standards and client requirements.
• Proactively suggest new KPIs, dashboards or analytics methods, BI frameworks and best practises.

Technical requirements

• 2 + years PowerBI experience.
• Strong expertise in Power Query, DAX and experience building efficient Data models.
• Strong SQL knowledge.
• Experience with ETL processes and transforming detailed operational data.
• Background with Microsoft BI stack (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS) and ETL tools including Python.
• Analytical mindset and excellent communicator.
