Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) at Debden Delivery Office in LOUGHTON. The role is fixed-term for 10 months with 30 hours per week on a rotating schedule, including weekends, from 08:30 to 20:00. You will deliver letters and parcels, walk and drive as part of your route, and engage with local customers.

You’ll receive full training, a uniform and a Royal Mail van. This role requires a full UK manual driving licence (max 6 points) and the ability to work outdoors in all

Salary: £16.24 per hour * (paid monthly) + paid overtime available.

Working hours: 30:00 hours per week – working (5) days in 7 across Monday - Sunday – 08:30/20:00

You’ll be required to work Sundays at (Debdon) Delivery Office.

What To Expect

• Walking long distances (up to 12 miles / 20,000+ steps)


• Driving a Royal Mail van daily

About You
