Job summary

Royal Mail is hiring a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) in Swansea for a fixed-term contract of six months. You will sort mail, deliver by van and on foot, and interact with customers in your local area, often outdoors in all weather.

The role operates on a rotating schedule including some weekends. You should hold a full manual UK driving licence (6 points max), be physically fit for long walks and lifting mailbags, and be reliable with strong organisational skills.

Qualifications

• A full manual UK driving licence is required (6 penalty points max).
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and pass a driving assessment.
• Physically fit to walk long distances and lift mailbags >10 kg.
• Reliable, self-motivated and able to work outdoors, on your own.

Job type: Fixed Term contract 6 months

Salary: £13.68 per hour* (paid monthly) + paid overtime available.

Working hours: 08:00 hours per week - working Sunday - 10:00/18:00*

About You

• Reliable and self-motivated
