Job summary

P&O Ferries in Tilbury is seeking a proactive Operations Support Coordinator to assist in a fast-paced ro-ro operation moving cargo to and from mainland Europe via Zeebrugge and Rotterdam. You will work with internal teams, customers and stakeholders to keep vessels on schedule while upholding health and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has strong MS Office and Teams skills, comfort with IT systems, clear customer communication, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience using MS Office, email and Teams.
• Comfortable with IT systems and learning new software.
• Clear, professional communication with customers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain health and safety across day-to-day port operations.
• Communicate with internal teams, customers and stakeholders.
• Support damage control processes and escalate issues.
• Coordinate customer units to support vessel and terminal operations.
• Assist in keeping vessels on schedule through planning and prioritisation.
