Job summary

Haven is seeking a Pool Shift Leader to manage assigned shifts, lead the pool team, and ensure a safe, fun experience for guests. The role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and the ability to enforce rules and safety checks while providing excellent guest service.

Candidates should be able to train new staff, handle emergencies quickly, and work weekends, evenings and holidays as needed. DBS checks are part of the onboarding process and comprehensive training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Senior Lifeguard, Team Leader, or Supervisor in leisure, sports, or activities preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with commitment to safety checks and compliance with guidelines.
• Ability to stay focused and act quickly in emergencies.
• Customer-focused service.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the team by assigning tasks, ensuring smooth workflow, and motivating the team to deliver excellent service.
• Enforce facility rules and regulations to promote a safe and enjoyable environment.
• Conduct regular safety inspections of pool equipment and facilities.
• Provide prompt, professional guest service, addressing complaints and special requests.
• Assist in training new team members on company policies and procedures.
• Participate in team duties while stepping up as the shift leader when assigned.
