Job summary

Haven is hiring a Pool Shift Leader to oversee daily operations, lead a team, and ensure a safe, enjoyable swimming experience for every guest. This role is offered Full‑Time / Part‑Time / Seasonal with pay up to £12.71 per hour, +£1 per hour when leading a shift.

You’ll enforce rules, run safety checks, train new staff, and handle guest requests. We’re seeking experienced lifeguards or supervisors with strong leadership, excellent communication, and weekend/evening availability;

Qualifications

• Senior Lifeguard/Team Leader experience in leisure settings.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with thorough safety checks and compliance.
• Ability to act quickly in emergencies and stay calm under pressure.
• Must be flexible to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the team by assigning tasks and ensuring smooth workflow.
• Enforce facility rules to promote safety and enjoyment.
• Conduct regular safety inspections of pool equipment and facilities.
• Provide prompt, professional guest service and address complaints.
• Assist in training new team members on policies and procedures.
• Step up as shift leader when assigned.
