Key Responsibilities

• Follow detailed work instructions relating to paint finishing and polishing.
• Complete all station tasks to the required quality standards and within set timescales.
• Carry out exterior polishing using the correct materials, tools, and methods.
• Inspect completed vehicles to ensure a flawless finish with zero defects.
• Perform flattening, polishing, and touch-up operations as required.
• Support problem-solving activities relating to quality, cost, or productivity.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure correct disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
• Maintain a clean, organised working environment and take care of tools and equipment.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Experience within an automotive or similar manufacturing environment is an advantage.

Strong attention to detail and a clear focus on quality.

Able to follow established processes and work to defined timescales.

Confident using polishing tools, materials, and associated equipment.

Experience inspecting finished surfaces and identifying any defects.

Familiarity with flattening, polishing, and touch-up processes.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, modern OEM environment.

Experience maintaining and cleaning equipment is beneficial.
