A regional healthcare provider in Crewe is looking for a POAC Clinical Support Worker to assist in the outpatient department. This role involves conducting patient assessments, supporting nursing staff, and ensuring the clinic operates smoothly. The ideal candidate will have a relevant healthcare qualification and experience in patient care. This position offers a dynamic work environment with a focus on high-quality care. Potential working hours are 8AM to 8PM, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work.
Supporting the running of the clinic by completing baseline observations on patients and supporting the POAC Nurses in ensuring patients are assessed and prepared ready for their planned surgery.
Patient assessment: BP, weight, height, MRSA swabbing & urinalysis.
Support the nurses and the operational services assistant in the day to day running of the nurse led clinic.
Working within Leighton Hospital Outpatient area, potential working hours 8AM - 8PM, Monday - Friday with occasional weekend work.
