The Opportunity

To ensure a successful integration of Business Services for Ashurst and Perkins Coie, Ashurst has established an Integration Management Office (IMO) tasked with the following main objectives:

  • Facilitate integration design activities across Ashurst and Perkins Coie, both individually and collectively, including the shaping of recommendations.
  • Coordinate and manage day‑to‑day execution of the integration.
  • Ensure alignment with objectives and stakeholder expectations.
  • Track and report on progress of activities and identify, address or escalated risks and issues.

The Manager, Integration Management Office (IMO Manager) will provide oversight of all governance, coordination, and control activities within the Integration Management Office, in support of the overall business services integration.

  • The IMO Manager will collaborate closely with cross‑functional programme teams and be responsible for maintaining key information data sets, monitoring and escalating as required, as well as providing a consolidated integration reporting capability for key leadership and governance groups.
  • The role will also act as the central point of contact for integration governance, ensuring alignment across programmes and workstreams, managing dependencies, and communicating effectively with sponsors, leads and delivery teams on integration matters.
  • The IMO Manager will play an integral role in ensuring transparency and consistency, contributing to the overall success of the business services integration.

This is a full‑time, initial 12‑month fixed‑term (salaried) contract position operating out of Ashurst's London office with hybrid working.

About you

The successful candidate will have:

  • Demonstrable experience providing governance, coordination, and control activities across multiple programmes, preferably on a major integration programme, to drive best practice, alignment, and consistency in delivery.
  • Proven ability to produce timely and accurate reporting for senior leadership and governance groups, enabling effective oversight and decision‑making.
  • Experience maintaining comprehensive programme records and master indices, monitoring key data points and escalating issues to support transparency and informed decisions.
  • Track record of acting as the central point of contact for overall governance, records management, and reporting across complex programmes.
  • Expertise in managing cross‑programme and cross‑workstream dependencies, risks, and critical processes, with a proactive approach to support escalation and resolution.
  • Prior experience delivering secretariat support for governance groups, including preparation of inputs and documentation of outputs for high‑impact meetings.
  • Demonstrable capability in facilitating cross‑functional resource planning and demand management to optimise allocation and resolve conflicts.
  • Ability to help champion alignment between programme objectives, stakeholder expectations, and delivery teams, ensuring cohesion, clarity and consistency.
