PMLD & Sensory Learning Assistant – Specialist Provision

Location: Sunderland
Contract: Full time, long term
Start: ASAP
Pay: £89 to £110 per day (PAYE)

This role is perfect for someone who wants to support pupils with profound needs in a calm, nurturing environment. You’ll help pupils engage with multi-sensory learning and be part of a thoughtful, caring team.

Your responsibilities:

• Supporting learners with physical, sensory and communication needs
• Helping with mobility, hoisting, equipment and personal care
• Assisting with sensory rooms, hydrotherapy and structured activities
• Working closely with teachers, physios and OTs
• Providing gentle encouragement during every interaction

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
