We are looking for a dedicated PMLD Learning Support Assistant to work at a specialist school for PMLD students.

This PMLD Learning Support Assistant role is a perfect opportunity for a graduate looking to gain their first experience working with young people with special educational needs, as well as someone looking for the next step in their career to specialise in working with PMLD pupils, or aspiring Therapists.

As a PMLD Learning Support Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work closely with various therapy teams including Speech and Language Therapists and Occupational Therapists, if this is a career path you are interested in exploring. This school has their own Therapy Department on site, staffed by qualified therapists and therapy assistants. Entry requirements for a PMLD Learning Support Assistant:

• Undergraduate Degree or experience working with children or young people
• Knowledge, keen interest or understanding of the range of different types of learning difficulties, disabilities and behaviours
