Job summary

Santander is hiring a Customer Experience Advisor for the Plymouth Branch, working 35 hours per week on a rota basis Monday to Saturday, 8am–6pm. You’ll listen to customers, resolve issues, and support transactions, both in-branch and via phone, in a busy, multi-skilled environment.

You’ll be part of a friendly team that values innovation, collaboration, and customer-centric service, providing a range of banking services and safeguarding customers against fraud while growing your product

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service (face-to-face or telephony) required.
• Ability to communicate effectively to understand customers' needs.
• Willingness to go above and beyond for customers.
• Effective teamwork with a flexible, can-do approach to work.
• Openness to a broad range of activities beyond standard expectations.

Responsibilities

• Acting as the first point of contact for customers in branch or over the phone.
• Assisting with day-to-day transactions, queries and servicing.
• Answering customer calls into our contact centre.
• Building relationships and finding solutions.
• Developing knowledge of services and products to help customers.
• Identifying new ways to improve the customer experience.
