About The Role

HomeServe is recruiting directly employed Plumbing Engineers to join our team. The role is based in multiple locations including Stoke, Reading, Telford, Kingston upon Thames, and Uxbridge. It is a full‑time position, 40 hours per week, with the requirement for some weekend, evening and bank holiday work.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary: £34,800 – £38,950 (dependent on experience). A guaranteed £1,500 bonus is paid in the first year.

Qualifications and Experience

• Level 2 Plumbing qualification (certificates required).
• 1st and 2nd fix plumbing experience.
• Experience working as a plumber in domestic housing.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Proactive, ‘can‑do’ attitude.
• Keen eye for detail and problem‑solving skills.

Training & Support

• Week 1: Attend Head Office in Walsall from Monday to Friday; cover HomeServe programmes, health and safety and receive tools and equipment.
• Week 2: Budded up with an experienced Plumbing Engineer.
• Geographically appropriate accommodation and meal allowance covered during induction.
