A prestigious university in Scotland seeks a skilled Plumber to join their maintenance team. The role involves providing maintenance for heating, hot water, and mechanical systems across the estate. We are looking to appoint a Plumber to join our multi-disciplinary maintenance team responsible for the operation and maintenance of a wide range of services throughout the University Estate.
You will work as part of the Estates Trades Team and assist with the provision of maintenance duties to a wide variety of heating/hot water/mechanical plant on the University’s extensive and varied estate. You will work as part of a small team undertaking both reactive and planned maintenance duties, executing workmanship to a high standard and ensuring strict compliance with all Health and Safety legislation.
Excellent terms and conditions apply – 36.25 hours/week (working hours will vary between the hours of 7am and 6pm and specific timings will vary between work colleagues to suit any operational needs); 30 days annual leave plus 5 statutory days; contributory pension scheme. This is a permanent position.
