Just Eat Takeaway.com is seeking a Platform Engineer for the Batch Data Tools team to design, build, and evolve Mobius, our Kubernetes-native data platform that powers batch and streaming workloads at scale. You will collaborate with data engineers across the business, own observability, lead incident response, contribute to architecture decisions, and help raise engineering standards.

Proficiency in Python/Java/Scala, Spark, DBT, AWS data services, and SQL is essential to deliver reliable data

Competenze

• Strong coding skills in Python/Java/Scala with production-grade software experience.
• Experience with data transformation tools like Spark and DBT.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes-based deployment of data workloads.
• Experience with AWS data services (S3, Glue ETL, DynamoDB, SQS, etc.).
• SQL proficiency and ability to query large datasets (Athena).
• Experience with orchestration tools (Airflow).

• Design, build, and improve batch processing capabilities on the Mobius platform.
• Shape architecture decisions that scale with data needs.
