Job summary

Raytheon UK is seeking a Platform Engineer to deploy applications across cloud and on-prem environments for multiple business areas. You will build development tools, automate release processes, and ensure security against cyber threats while collaborating with other engineers to follow established processes.

The role requires agility in an SCRUM/DevOps culture, experience with container platforms, and automation tooling.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in an Agile/SCRUM/DevOps delivery model.
• Cloud technologies (AWS or Azure).
• Infrastructure as code e.g. Terraform, Puppet, Chef, Ansible etc.
• Experience in building and deploying large-scale applications in CI/CD pipelines; Container platform and orchestration systems ECS, AKS, Kubernetes/helm/Docker
• Experience in automation and integration tools such as Jenkins, Concourse CI or cloud equivalents
• Experience in scripting languages and source control

Role & Responsibilities

• Work as a Platform Engineer, deploying applications and software to cloud or on-prem environments for our many business areas.
