Job summary

Raytheon UK is seeking a permanent, full-time Platform Engineer to join our team in Gloucester, South Gloucestershire. The role offers onsite work with a minimum of three days per week on site and hybrid flexibility.

Qualifications

• Willing to obtain SC and eDV clearance.
• Willing to attain eDV clearance.
• Experience with Agile, SCRUM or DevOps delivery.
• Experience with AWS or Azure cloud.
• Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Puppet, Chef or Ansible).
• Experience building and deploying CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with container platforms and orchestration (Kubernetes, Helm, Docker).
• Experience with automation and integration tools (Jenkins, Concourse CI).
• Experience with scripting languages and source control.

Salary: £75,000 - 75,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require candidates to be willing and eligible to hold SC and eDV clearance.
• We require candidates to be willing to attain an eDV clearance.
• Experience of working in an Agile, SCRUM, or DevOps delivery model.
• Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, Puppet, Chef, or Ansible.
• Experience building and deploying large-scale applications in Continuous Integration and Delivery pipelines.
• Experience with container platforms and orchestration systems such as ECS, AKS, Kubernetes/Helm, or Docker.
• Experience with automation and integration tools such as Jenkins, Concourse CI, or cloud equivalents.
• Experience with scripting languages and source control.

• We work as Platform Engineers, deploying applications and software to cloud or on-premises environments across our business areas.
