Balfour Beatty plc is seeking a Plant Coordinator to ensure the right plant and equipment are planned, mobilised and maintained to support heavy earthworks and infrastructure programmes. You will work with supervisors, subcontractors and the logistics control room to optimise uptime and protect critical path.

The role requires coordinating mobilisation, ensuring compliance with LOLER/PUWER, and building dashboards to track plant availability and performance.

Competenze

• Experience coordinating plant/equipment on major civil projects.
• Strong understanding of plant maintenance and safe operations.
• Proven ability to manage multiple suppliers and site demands.

Mansioni

• Plan and allocate plant to align with construction schedule.
• Coordinate mobilisation and redeployment of plant.
• Balance owned vs hired plant and monitor off-hire windows.
• Ensure operators have correct competencies and tickets.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and inspections (LOLER/PUWER).
• Maintain asset registers and inspection records.
• Interface with traffic, materials, and rail/port teams to synchronise plant.
