Job summary

Browne is seeking a proactive Plant Coordinator to join the Procurement team in our UK operations. You will coordinate on-hire and off-hire of plant and equipment, working with sites, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to meet requirements efficiently and cost-effectively, while maintaining accurate records in our systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in plant hire, hire desk, logistics, scheduling or coordination.
• Knowledge of plant and equipment used in construction/utilities.
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with suppliers and operations.
• Proficiency in MS Office 365; Dynamics 365 advantageous.
• GCSEs in English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate on-hire and off-hire of plant and equipment with sites and suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance against service levels and records accuracy in systems.
• Support procurement and operations to ensure resources are available safely, on time and within budget.
