Job summary

Balfour Beatty plc is delivering logistics coordination for the Sizewell C project on the Suffolk coast. The role interfaces with site teams, haulage providers and logistics functions to align deliveries and plant movements with programme needs and constraints.

The Logistics Supervisor will drive compliance with FORS, CLOCS, and related standards, manage delays and breaches, and support real-time operational decisions across the SZC Civil Works Programme.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a logistics, transport, site coordination, or construction support role.
• Experience coordinating deliveries, collections, plant movements, or access arrangements in a live operational environment.
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders, including site teams, hauliers, suppliers, and client representatives.
• Experience monitoring compliance, resolving operational issues, and maintaining accurate logistics data or records.

Responsibilities

• Demand Forecasting and maintain logistics forecasts (HGVs, AILs, materials).
• Review and challenge site requirements and identify constraints early.
• Delivery Coordination: coordinate deliveries, collections, and plant movements.
• Align haulage, access, and operational constraints for smooth delivery flow.
• Ensure compliance with DCO and SZC requirements and monitor slot adherence.
