If you’re reading this, you have probably already been an easyJet customer, and you’ll know more iconic (or Orange!) travel brand in Europe. We fly more than 1,207 routes, connecting 38 countries across Europe, and employ more than 18,000 colleagues. We’re on a mission to make low‑cost travel easy – and whatever your role here, you’ll connect millions of people to what they love using Europe’s best airline network, great value fares, and friendly service. What makes us easyJet? Our Promise Behaviours – we are Safe, Bold, Welcoming and Challenging. Four Behaviours. One Spirit. One easyJet.

The Team

Join our E&M supply chain team, where our orange spirit thrives. You’ll be part of a collaborative, relentless and uncompromising environment that ensures the essential flow of parts and services to support our operation.

The Role

As a Planning & Logistics Specialist, you’ll play a key part in the seamless movement of aircraft materials and parts across the easyJet network. Reporting to the Transportation & Distribution Manager, you’ll build strong relationships with transport partners, introduce robust lane processes, and drive supply chain efficiencies. You’ll plan collections and deliveries using the most effective mode, routing, timescale and cost, proactively monitor shipment status and resolve incidents, and raise consignment paperwork on time and in compliance with regulations. You’ll identify consolidation opportunities to reduce shipment numbers, admin processing and costs, support the Transportation & Distribution Manager in agreeing freight tariffs and challenging costs, and gain a deep understanding of the easyJet network to contribute to planning strategy for regular shuttles, shipments from critical providers and Powerplant movements. You’ll also support customs and logistics in the preparation of industry audits with HMRC, ensure compliant maintenance of PVA and deferment account authorisations, and implement lane bibles and central repositories for consignment documentation and shipment referencing.

What we’re looking for
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in freight forwarding and UK/EU transportation environments
  • Freight management background in road and air (sea preferable but not essential)
  • Knowledge of customs requirements and experience in planning large volume lanes
  • Experience of dangerous goods in air, sea and road
  • Interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Experience working with customs software
  • Aviation/airline/aerospace logistics experience is advantageous but not essential
What you’ll get in return
  • Up to 20% maximum bonus
  • 5% pension contributions
  • Medical Cash Plan
  • Excellent staff travel benefits
  • 25 days of annual leave + bank holidays
  • Annual credit towards an easyJet holiday
  • Various flexible benefits and extras
