Overview

Service Care Legal are working alongside a local authority based in Gloucestershire. We are looking to recruit a Lawyer to join the council's legal team with Planning law focus.

Rate

Umbrella Rate: £50-55ph DOE | PAYE (Inc Hol) - £44.06 - £48.41ph DOE

Contract

Length: 3 Months Ongoing

Responsibilities
  • Provide legal advice to a range of clients on planning and highway matters.
  • Reviewing and drafting Committee reports.
  • Undertake advocacy and represent the Council in the Court arena.
  • Represent Legal Services, the Council and external clients in meetings, including committee and member meetings, inquiries and working groups and in discussions with other legal practitioners at an appropriate level as and when required.
About You
  • Must be a qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister with a current practising certificate.
  • Experience specialising in planning law within the last 5 years.
  • Good communication with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively with a range of professionals and stakeholders.
