Job summary

A leading global EPC organization is seeking an experienced Piping/Mechanical Superintendent to oversee quality control and assurance procedures for various projects. You will lead teams in managing construction activities, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets, and maintaining safety protocols. Relevant experience or degree required. This long-term contract position is Outside of IR-35.

Qualifications

Our client, a globally leading EPC, seeks experienced Piping/Mechanical Superintendents, to spearhead and oversee the quality control and assurance procedures for various projects. They typically coordinate with project managers to identify the projects' needs and goals, ensuring timeliness and smooth workflow. This is a long term, contract position, Outside of IR-35.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage teams of Piping and Mechanical technicians, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to project schedules and budgets.
  • Oversee all aspects of piping and mechanical construction, including installation, fabrication, testing, and commissioning.
  • Interpret and execute complex engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Identify and proactively resolve technical issues and ensure timely correction.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of work performed.
  • Collaborate effectively with other departments including engineers, surveyors, and project managers.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process enhancements.
