Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Pipeline Civil Engineer to deliver critical water infrastructure projects across the UK and internationally. You will apply advanced pipeline analysis, oversee design across the full lifecycle, and contribute to proposals and reports with clients and multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent with Chartered/Incorporated status or working toward it.
• Proven experience across pipeline disciplines: buried pipelines, rehabilitation, and trenchless design.
• Familiarity with pipeline analysis tools and standards (e.g., BS EN 1295-1:2019, CIRIA).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical engineering across full lifecycle of major pipeline projects.
• Oversee and deliver design outputs including material selection and thrust restraint.
• Lead rehabilitation options, condition/failure assessments, and asset life extension.
• Develop high-level technical reports and contribute to project proposals.
• Collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams; engage with industry bodies.
