Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Pipeline Civil Engineer to deliver technical engineering across the full lifecycle of major water pipeline projects in the UK and internationally. You will work with clients and multidisciplinary teams on design, rehabilitation strategies, and condition assessments, applying advanced tools and standards.

You will contribute to proposals, produce technical reports, and support research initiatives with industry bodies.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent is required.
• Chartered or Incorporated status (ICE/CIWEM or equivalent) is preferred.
• Experience with pipeline rehabilitation and trenchless design is essential.
• Familiarity with pipeline analysis software and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical engineering across the full lifecycle of major pipeline projects.
• Oversee structural design of buried pipelines and thrust restraint design.
• Evaluate rehabilitation options and trenchless technologies to extend asset life.
• Produce high-level technical reports and contribute to proposals and research initiatives.
