BMW Group Plant Hams Hall is a modern, state-of-the-art engine manufacturing facility, located just outside Birmingham, UK. Producing the latest generation of three- and four-cylinder petrol engines, and precision machining key engine components, the plant will soon be celebrating 25 years successful of production. Operating seven days a week, with more than one engine rolling off the line per minute, the plant plays a key role in BMW Group’s global production network, supplying engines for BMW and MINI, including some of the latest plug-in hybrid vehicles.
BMW Hams Hall, Birmingham – Physical Logistics Internship – 13-Month Placement (July 2026)
We are looking for a placement student to join our Physical Logistics team for 13 months commencing July 2026. Our function is responsible for providing the right parts at the right time to our manufacturing colleagues, as well as managing the storage of our finished major units in our automatic warehouses. The role will involve supporting the Logistics Operations and Engineering team in running the department, focusing on Digitalisation, App development, Continuous improvement, Lean manufacturing, Problem resolution and identifying and implementing process improvements.
