Job summary

Boots Pharmacy seeks a Pharmacy Technician to deliver patient-centred service across our stores in Scotland. You will triage patients, advise on medicines, coach the pharmacy team and support safe dispensing activities.

You will be registered with GPhC/PSNI/PSI, possess strong communication and organisation skills, and be adept with pharmacy systems. Boots offers extensive benefits, development opportunities and flexible working options.

Qualifications

• Registered with the relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC, PSNI, PSI).
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Motivation to lead a dispensary team.
• Ability to use pharmacy systems and technology.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert, tailored advice to patients about medicines.
• Deliver store services as required.
• Coach and inspire the pharmacy team to deliver high care standards.
• Assist triage of patients and distribute prescription handouts.
• Take ownership of legal, safe, ethical decision-making in the pharmacy.
• Manage stock replenishment, workflow, and controlled drugs handling while ensuring patient safety.
