Job summary

Boots Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to deliver patient-centred service across the communities we serve, triaging patients, coaching the healthcare team, and providing expert technical advice on medicines.

You’ll be registered with the relevant regulator (GPhC/PSNI/PSI), have excellent communication and organisational skills, and a desire to lead a dispensary team. Training and progression opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Registered with the relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC, PSNI, PSI).
• Interest in coaching and leading a dispensary team.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Desire to deliver outstanding patient care and services.

Responsibilities

• Providing expert, tailored advice to patients about medicines and products.
• Delivering services according to store needs.
• Coaching and inspiring the pharmacy team to deliver high standards of care.
• Assisting with patient triage and distributing prescription handouts.
• Taking ownership of legal, safe, and ethical decisions in the pharmacy.
• Managing stock, workload, orders, and controlled drugs with patient safety in mind.
