Job summary

Boots is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to deliver patient-centred service, provide expert medicine advice, and coach the pharmacy team. You will triage patients, support dispensing and ensure safe, ethical decision-making in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with the relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC, PSNI, PSI).
• Coaching and leading a dispensary team is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential.
• Motivation to improve services for teams, customers and patients.
• Desire to deliver outstanding patient care.
• Ability to use pharmacy systems and technology.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert, tailored advice to patients about medicines and products.
• Deliver store-based services as required by the pharmacy.
• Coach and inspire the pharmacy team to maintain high standards of care.
• Assist with triage of patients and distribution of prescription handouts.
• Make safe, ethical decisions in the pharmacy operations.
• Manage stock replenishment, workload, orders and handling of controlled drugs.
