Job summary

Boots UK is seeking a Dispenser to join our in-store pharmacy team. You will dispense prescriptions, advise patients, and support the pharmacist to deliver safe, high‑quality medicines and healthcare services.

This role operates in-store across the UK, with opportunities to develop through training and a clear pathway to Pharmacy Technician training or leadership roles. You’ll work within SOPs, build strong patient relationships, manage repeats, and promote adherence while upholding Boots values

Qualifications

• Completed the Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 (or equivalent) or currently working towards the first year of an MPharm qualification.
• Current and valid UK right to work. This role is not eligible for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker Visa.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions while ensuring the safe supply of medicines.
• Work with healthcare professionals to deliver pharmacy services in-store.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist as appropriate.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Help patients manage their prescriptions and repeats to promote adherence and reduce waste.
