Job summary

Boots UK is looking for an in-store Dispenser to join our pharmacy team in the UK. You will support the pharmacist, dispense prescriptions, provide patient advice, and help ensure safe delivery of pharmacy services while delivering excellent customer care.

You will work within the healthcare department, build relationships with patients, comply with SOPs, and have opportunities for career progression, including technician training and leadership paths.

Qualifications

• Completed the Pharmacy Advisor qualification NVQ2 (or equivalent) or currently working towards and have completed the first year of an MPharm qualification.
• Current and valid UK right to work. This role is not eligible for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker Visa.

Responsibilities

• Prescription dispensing while ensuring safe supply of medicines, including ordering, labelling, dispensing, endorsing and collection of prescriptions.
• Work with healthcare professionals in-store to assist in the management and delivery of pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist as appropriate.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with new innovations in store and comply with operational processes.
