Job summary

The Boots Company PLC is seeking an in-store Dispenser to support the pharmacy team in dispensing prescriptions and advising patients. You will help ensure safe medicine handling, greet customers, and contribute to high-quality pharmacy services within a Boots store across the UK.

You will work under the pharmacist, follow SOPs, and participate in training and development opportunities, with the potential to train as a Pharmacy Technician or move into store leadership.

Qualifications

• Completed the Pharmacy Advisor qualification NVQ2 (or working towards) and have completed the first year of an MPharm.
• Current and valid UK right to work. Role not sponsorable for Skilled Worker Visa.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions while ensuring safe supply of medicines.
• Collaborate with pharmacy team to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist.
• Follow SOPs for safe and legal dispensing and keep up to date with new store innovations.
