Job summary

Boots UK is seeking a Dispenser to support the pharmacy team in a UK store, focusing on dispensing prescriptions and delivering patient care. You will work with healthcare professionals to ensure safe, compliant services and help patients understand medicines and health options.

The role is in-store across the UK, with opportunities to train as a Pharmacy Technician or progress within the store leadership team.

Qualifications

• NVQ2 Pharmacy Advisor qualification or working towards the first year of MPharm.
• Current UK right to work; not eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions while ensuring safe supply of medicines.
• Collaborate with store healthcare professionals to deliver services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer questions to the Pharmacist.
• Follow SOPs to support safe dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with store innovations and operational processes.
• Assist patients with repeats and medicine management to promote adherence.
