Job summary

Boots UK is seeking a Dispenser to join our pharmacy team in-store across the UK. You will assist the pharmacist in dispensing prescriptions, advising patients, and supporting the safe and efficient delivery of pharmacy services.

You will work closely with healthcare professionals, follow SOPs, and develop your healthcare knowledge while exploring progression options such as Pharmacy Technician training or leadership pathways within the store.

Qualifications

• NVQ2 Pharmacy Advisor qualification completed or in progress toward MPharm.
• Current UK right to work.
• Experience in community pharmacy is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prescription dispensing while ensuring safe supply of medicines and handling prescriptions.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare professionals in-store to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist as appropriate.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with new store developments and comply with processes.
• Support patients to manage their prescriptions and adherence to therapies.
